Welcome to Sunshine Windows! Founded by me, Emilio, I've recently returned to operating as a sole trader in Adelaide, the best city in Australia. My mission is to deliver top-tier property care directly to you, built on extensive experience and a commitment to quality, safety, and eco-friendly solutions. This page shares my journey and the philosophy behind Sunshine Windows.
My journey in property care began 24 years ago, cleaning windows since I was 15. I've honed my craft working for multiple corporate cleaning and property maintenance companies, as well as small painting, landscaping, and construction services. I've been a sole trader since 2005, and established Sunshine Windows in 2014. After several years managing employees and subcontractors, I transitioned back to being a sole trader about five years ago, valuing the purpose and freedom self-employment brings.
For over three years, I relied on word-of-mouth while serving the Mid North Coast of NSW, offering handyman and property maintenance services, all while renovating my own home. My experience spans construction since age 15, renovating my own house, running small businesses, and training others. I also served as a retained firefighter at Bowraville 235 Station, holding a Certificate II in Medical First Response and Cert III in Firefighting.
Since returning to Adelaide, I've been working for excelps.com.au while operating Sunshine Windows on Thursdays and Fridays, as well as on an ad-hoc basis throughout the week, ensuring continued hands-on experience and industry insight. I'm also committed to personal development, actively maintaining my health and working on ICAHome.org, a non-profit initiative focused on self-employment and personal growth. As Jim Rohan said, "The best time to start was ten years ago; the next best time is now!"
